Three Kinds of Liberal

There are three kinds of liberal voter. There is the thuggish wolf, the compliant sheep, and the low-information voter.

The thuggish wolf has no illusions about what he's fighting for. It's not about the environment, saving the whales, "choice", immigrant rights, peace, not being racist or any of the myriad other storefront issues that the Democrat Media Complex pretends liberalism is about. The thuggish wolf only seeks one thing: power. He only cynically uses the above issues to attract his following of sheep and deceive the low-information voter.

He has no problem stepping on one supposedly sincerely-held belief to advance another if the other is a quicker way to achieve greater power than the former. If coddling Muslims is more useful than gay rights, he will back the Muslim and throw gays and lesbians under the bus. If bringing in more illegal alien voters is more important than the environment, he will leave the borders wide open even in protected lands, letting illegals leave mounds of garbage along their way. To the thuggish wolf, people - and causes - are disposable. A temporary means to a greater end which is about none of the issues he used to get there. Once total power is achieved, as in the Soviet Union, gays will have no rights, the environment will not matter, abortion will be forced, all dissent will be punished, no one but party members will be allowed to vote - for other party members. No one will have rights of any kind but the state.

The compliant sheep is the liberal most often trotted out in the media to attract more followers. It is the the very sincere true belief in whatever liberal cause or causes that drives him to activism. According to studies, the compliant sheep is biologically predisposed to be liberal. He lacks a basic distrust of power that leads him to believe despite history that the thuggish wolf will provide everything being promised. His knowledge of history and other things that could serve as aids to actually help mitigate his disability is purposely kept shallow or skewed with revisionism. His inherent liberalism is then shaped and molded by academia and the media. He is unconsciously aware of his inherent mental shortcomings and ironically grows increasingly paranoid to compensate. That paranoia is fed and cultivated until he has arrived at the point that he demonizes the very people - conservatives - who seek to protect his freedom. That old photo of the wild-eyed Hitler worshiper - that's him.

Lastly, there is the low-information voter. Like the compliant sheep, his views are driven by academics and the Democrat Media Complex. He's generally not interested in politics and only votes when the media play the dog whistles he was trained to respond to in school. He knows not his left hand from his right hand and has never had any reason to even think media or academic bias exists. However, if the low-information voter does find new information, he may well break away from his brethren and become a conservative. This is where the alternative media and good neighborliness come into play. While the compliant sheep can be given tools for properly compensating for their disability, the low-information voter is fine - he just needs to be given the truth.

  1. I had it broken down into two groups, rubes (the sheep) and toadies (wolves). I left out the low-information voter though.
