Some Thoughts About Seasons

To everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven:
A time to be born,    
And a time to die;
A time to plant,    
And a time to pluck what is planted;
A time to kill,    
And a time to heal;
A time to break down,    
And a time to build up;
A time to weep,    
And a time to laugh;
A time to mourn,    
And a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones,    
And a time to gather stones;
A time to embrace,    
And a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to gain,    
And a time to lose;
A time to keep,    
And a time to throw away; 
A time to tear,    
And a time to sew;
A time to keep silence,    
And a time to speak;
A time to love,    
And a time to hate;
A time of war,    
And a time of peace. ... 

I know that whatever God does,
It shall be forever.
Nothing can be added to it,
And nothing taken from it.
God does it, that men should fear before Him. ~ Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, 14 

But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence. ~ 1 Corinthians 1:27-29

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts.“
For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven,
And do not return there,
But water the earth,
And make it bring forth and bud,
That it may give seed to the sower
And bread to the eater,
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
“For you shall go out with joy,
And be led out with peace;
The mountains and the hills
Shall break forth into singing before you,
And all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress tree,
And instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree;
And it shall be to the Lord for a name,
For an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.” ~ Isaiah 55:9-13

Nor our seasons His seasons but if we listen we can know His seasons. (Matthew 24:32-40, Genesis 6-7). 

It seems reasonable to me to believe that this applies to every aspect of our lives.



Just kitten kidding. Not scary but profound, walking by faith first, not perception. We are supposed to use our good senses but sometimes our perceivers can't perceive (and sometimes we can't even perceive that our perceivers can't perceive), so God's input must be or first and overriding source.
